The Creeper in the DarkIt was getting late. My mom had bought a restaurant just about 3 months prior to this night, and it was a dump - a mess. She began renovation as soon as she bought it. We would go to the restaurant often so that we could see the progress it was making. This was one of those nights. We had just driven four hours in the car to get to our restaurant. It isn't in the town we live in, but it is close to my grandpa's house. We go there a lot anyway, so going to check on the restaurant wasn't exactly "going out of our way".
